In a city renowned for its creative energy, the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) invited Hassell to collaborate on the exhibition design of the Design Wall 2023 an installation celebrating innovative product design from Melbourne as part of NGV’s Melbourne Now exhibition. Design Wall 2023 is on display until 20 August.

Our Hong Kong studio teamed up with our client The Great Room to co-host a panel discussion titled, ‘Breathing space: A regenerative approach to designing places’. The event explored the role that green, public and third spaces play in transformative urban regeneration and social sustainability and how these spaces – from pocket parks to precinct scale – can have cumulative positive effects for a city.
