A big part of our involvement in Melbourne’s city-shaping Metro Tunnel Project is activating the above-ground urban experience. Shops, eateries, offices, a library and a public courtyard all feature in a major development proposal above Melbourne’s Town Hall metro station… Together with developer Lendlease, we have submitted plans for a nine-storey building enveloping the historic Young and Jackson Hotel, which is designed to be “contextually appropriate and engaging for citizens of Melbourne”. “It celebrates the rich public and iconic history of the site, and will breathe new life into the surrounding area”.
