Gerard is our former CEO and now Strategic Advisor to Hassell. He is a globally experienced leader in the strategic, cultural and innovation challenges inherent in the competitive, fast-changing environment faced by Hassell and our clients. In his international career, he has worked as CEO, Board Director and Chairman across a number of privately owned and publicly listed businesses.

Gerard has helped Hassell become the creative, insight-led international practice it is today – a design firm positioned for the future, purposefully engaging with the design opportunities and challenges central to major themes such as urbanisation, population growth, climate change, city resilience, environmental and social sustainability, renewable energy, technological development, AI and ​‘big data’ analytics, the future of work, and new developments in health and education.
