Monash University research examines wellbeing of Architects

A first-of-its-kind interdisciplinary research project investigating the work-related wellbeing of architects and architecture students has received funding.

Architectural Work Cultures: professional identity, education and wellbeing” aims to determine exactly what impacts work cultures and professional identity in architects - both positive and negative - with the goal to go beyond knowledge and into action towards cultural change.

The research will be led by Monash University with industry partners including the Australian Institute of Architects, and Hassell included as a research partner.
