Sixty Martin Place picks up three awards at CTBUH 2020

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) 2020 Awards have announced Sixty Martin Place, Sydney, a winner across three separate categories.

The Hassell-designed, Investa Property Group and Gwynvill Group developed commercial tower received Awards of Excellence for ‘Best Tall Building 100-199 meters', 'Interior Space, and 'Façade Engineering’. The 33-level tower has only recently opened in Sydney’s CBD, with its distinct feature being the building’s north face extending out eight metres above the 1930s-era stone heritage church next door.

Hassell Principal Tony Grist said that the three award-wins are a testament to the design team’s ability to create something unique, that is commercially successful, whilst contributing to the rejuvenation of Martin Place precinct.

Sixty Martin Place had been creating anticipation since construction started, and now it’s already being recognised by our peers for the quality of the built outcome and what it will contribute to the Sydney CBD. Our congratulations to all winners.”
