Queensland Landscape Awards announce Aerodrome project a winner

The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) has announced the winners of the 2020 Queensland Landscape Architecture Awards, with the Aerodrome Road Intersection picking up the Civic Landscape award.

The project, from Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, has delivered a significant new public space that celebrates the Sunshine Coast’s subtropical landscape and lifestyle; with cooling canopies, community amenities, and better active and public transport links that strengthen connections within the city.
