Ballarat Mayor announces Bakery Hill design team

The Bakery Hill Revitalisation Plan in Ballarat, Victoria, has achieved a milestone with the appointment of Hassell to lead the next stage of the project. The design team will also include local firms PLOT Landscape Architecture and Cardno TGM.

The Bakery Hill Urban Renewal Plan was adopted by Council in October 2019 with a commitment of $15 million dollars over three financial years to fund the key element of the Bakery Hill Renewal Plan - the Bridge Mall Rejuvenation Project.

The appointment of a designer to revitalise the Bridge Mall is the result of a thorough and competitive process undertaken by Council.

This appointment is a significant step and one that will help drive the renewal of the Bridge Mall as part of the vision for the Bakery Hill precinct,” Ballarat Mayor, Cr Ben Taylor said.
