Compliance Manager

We’re looking for a Compliance Manager with experience in large scale urban projects to join our Brisbane team.

This is your opportunity to become part of an integrated team including architects, landscape architects and urban designers to work on large, city-shaping, mixed use infrastructure projects.

About you

You have a background in some or all of the following: developing, implementing or assessing governance, risk and compliance structures and frameworks, contract assurance, government program design and delivery assurance, assurance and compliance program design and delivery, and process optimisation.

Key skills and experience

_At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a compliance based role with exposure to the building design process

_Strong communication skills

The Role

The role

Operating in the global Finance team, based in Melbourne, this is an exciting time for the right applicant to join a leading international design practice. This newly redesigned Financial Accountant position will be part of an ever growing team.

Headed by the Group Finance Manager and Finance Manager (Australia), the practice needs an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team and work closely with the CFO, various studio project accountants, international finance managers as well as the owners of the business who work inside the firm.

You will lead the production of our internal and external reporting, working closely with our Finance managers, you will be responsible for driving a high standard of timely and accurate results.   You will drive an initiative of a continual focus on internal control review, development and governance within the finance team.

As part of our internal reporting, you will have the opportunity to assist with the development and production of new reports and gain exposure to valuable new skills through SQL and SSRS database reporting.

You will be responsible for:

_compilation of the monthly management results including analytical summary;

_the continual review of the businesses month-end accounting procedures,

_KPI reporting and cash flow reporting,

_monthly GST and Quarterly Activity Statement preparation,

_liaising with auditors and tax advisors to produce financial statements and income tax returns for all Australian entities;

You will essentially have:

_a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, plus CA

_3-4 years' experience in a medium/ large chartered firm

_Sound knowledge of IFRS/AASB

Senior Interior Designer

The role

Our Shanghai studio is looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer with excellent design and delivery skills on medium to large-scale workplace projects. You will be a creative designer with a solid grounding in detail documentation, technical detailing, drawing skills and interior package documentation. Architecture – Design Lead
