介绍HASSELL董事:Xavier De Kestelier

HASSELL新近任命的董事兼设计科技与创新负责人Xavier De Kestelier参与过全球最为复杂的一些项目,其中包括科技公司办公总部、世界知名美术馆、以及研究机构片区、机场、以及媒体公司办公总部等。

HASSELL首席执行官Gerard Corcoran表示,该项任命决策是HASSELL不断拓展自身专业技术能力战略的一项举措。

“作为一名从业的建筑师和技术专家,Xavier加入HASSELL的时机正值全球设计市场的变革期,也正是需要设计技术、创新和研究领域领导力的时刻,”Gerard谈到。

“变革激动人心,促使我们去创新和发现新的可能性,这不仅帮助我们持续提升HASSELL内部的专业能力,也将为我们的客户带来更大的价值,”Xavier表示。

加入HASSELL之前,Xavier曾担任一个国际知名专家建模团队的联合负责人,专注解决复杂形状的几何问题、环境分析模拟和数位构筑问题。在专家建模组任职期间,Xavier还领导过数项大型3D打印研究项目,以及太空概念项目及外星栖地。

Xavier还是非盈利性运算设计与数位构筑教育机构Smartgeometry 的负责人。该机构的年度研讨会和年会已在剑桥、多伦多、慕尼黑、纽约、旧金山、巴塞罗那、香港和哥本哈根多地举行,为运算化及数字设计专家搭建了独立的全球网络。

Xavier将带来其备受国际认可的专业经验,涵盖参数化设计、数位构筑、运算设计、快速成型、增强/虚拟现实以及设计中机器人技术的运用。同时,Xavier还在雪城大学伦敦分校、比利时根特大学和伦敦大学巴特莱特建筑学院担任学术职务。

“HASSELL正在全球范围内推进一些富有创新并具有超高技术的项目,我很高兴能够加入该团队,共同探索建筑与设计领域新的可能性,” Xavier表示。

Xavier将常驻HASSELL伦敦事务所,并参与公司全球项目。
