HASSELL获2018 IDEA设计大奖及国际项目大奖

11月23日星期五,2018年度室内设计卓越奖(IDEA)颁奖典礼于悉尼揭开帷幕,经过激烈的角逐,HASSELL获1000平米以上类别办公设计大奖。

室内设计卓越奖(IDEA)是澳大利亚最大的独立设计奖项,授予杰出的室内设计及产品设计成果。

The Bond项目客户将海滩边的园区式办公空间转型至位于历史悠久的The Rocks和新Barangaroo水岸之间的市中心,30 The Bond是一座低层的,建筑外形不规则的商业大楼。HASSELL为其设计的新办公空间展示了人性化与科技之间的平衡 — 在这里,艺术中有科学,科学中有艺术,精雕细琢的工艺为低调简洁的大楼更添质感。

HASSELL主席及室内设计负责人Rob Backhouse表示,奖项的获得代表了对我们致力于打造深受人们喜爱的场所的认可。“在HASSELL,我们的设计总是最先与最终使用空间的人们一同开展。在设计办公空间时,我们不仅仅满足客户需求,更重要的是考虑一天中大部分时间都将在这里度过的人,他们想要什么。该奖项的获得,是对于整个项目团队为达成目标所作所有努力的最佳认可。”

位于新加坡的GSK亚洲总部项目获得了国际项目类别评审高度赞赏奖的认可。

HASSELL揭晓修复性重建旧金山脆弱水岸设计方案

旧金山水岸历史悠久但已脆弱地不堪一击,旧金山港管理局决定重建海岸线,从而为城市的环境及经济带来积极的影响。

HASSELL的设计方案题为“韧性、修复、可达及激活”,旨在保存城市水岸的重要历史及文化,同时应对上升的海平面对脆弱的海岸线带来的威胁,提高水岸的公众可达性,以及增加水岸区域的多样化用途。通过将年久失修的码头重塑为娱乐、旅游、商业及文化功能,我们的设计提案的重点为,在沿着新的绿色内河码头扩展的公共空间上大力投资。

在最近的韧性城市设计湾区挑战赛中,HASSELL董事Richard Mullane说道,应对无可避免的海平面上升问题的同时,修复现有的码头需要并且理应成为港口水岸区未来发展的必经步骤之一。

“这一片水岸曾是连接世界的活力门户,但现在,超过20个码头均已损坏废弃,风化或掉入海湾中。非常明显的,现阶段的重点是为旧金山重塑世界级的,足够强韧到能够应对未来环境压力的海岸线上,同时为城市居民提供多元化的活力目的地空间。”他说。

充分利用HASSELL在悉尼码头中获得的对码头区域进行规划的基准,我们的设计方案通过采用适应性方式重塑一整排码头,可供非常广泛的用途使用 。从打造体育活动中心及博物馆,到综合体及商业开发,乃至开放式的公园及野生动植物保护区,廊道有潜力为当地居民及游客大大提高滨水区的可达性。

“该项目对于旧金山的重要程度体现在为民众提供多元化的活动,吸引各年龄段、各种不同背景及经济阶层的人们,同时重新修复并保存内河码头片区内的重要场地,这些都将带来无限的可能性。”Richard说。

HASSELL成立八十周年展览:
对话未来

为庆祝HASSELL成立80周年,我们举办了名为对话未来的主题展览。展览分别于上海及香港举办,回顾了我们80年来为客户和用户成功设计的深受人们喜爱的场所,向大家展示我们一路以来的收获。

对话未来展览11月15日星期四于上海开幕,随后则于11月21日转移至香港。对话未来展出了重点项目的建筑模型、VR以及项目背后的故事等内容。

上海的开幕活动中,受邀嘉宾参观了我们展出的设计成果,并且共同探讨了未来八十年间,能够影响设计的诸多变化,广泛的话题激起了热烈的思维碰撞。HASSELL总裁Steve Coster表示,展览活动是一个让我们能够回顾过去八十年将如何影响未来城市及社区设计的绝佳机会。

“此次展出的项目精选自HASSELL数量庞大的项目经验,既向大家展示了大尺度项目,如世界上最激动人心的最新商办开发和文化建筑、综合交通解决方案和弹性水岸设计。”他说,“也有我们参与打造的一些小尺度作品,例如领先的工作场所和全球最受欢迎的酒店和酒吧。”

“有机会为城市、片区及各个企业机构打造成功的设计与转型,并且成长为现在的企业,我们倍感自豪。”Steve说。

2030:火星奥德赛 – 极端栖息地研讨会

2018年,HASSELL开始了一项与NASA合作的任务,设计火星上首个人类居所。现在,2030: 火星奥德赛极端栖息地研讨会的召开是建立新的以基于网络联接各专业领域及行业的研究平台的第一步。

HASSELL董事及科技与创新设计负责人Xavier De Kestelier表示,2030: 火星奥德赛是一次难得的机会,藉此机会,我们能够进一步思考以人为中心的设计,同时探索打造“深受人们喜爱”的场所到底意味着什么。

“我们希望这只是一次抛砖引玉的活动,希望后续能够看到更多进步的讨论,将极端栖息地的研究成果整合,打造出有创见的、创新的并以科学为依据的设计方法 — 包括地球环境及星际环境。” Xavier说。

本场研讨会由HASSELL在伦敦举办,我们邀请到了多位欧洲最前沿的创新者参会,包括极地探险家和星际科学家等。会中,他们讨论的话题包罗万象,从确保人类能够于外太空生存的策略,到建造极端栖息地的成本及组织工作的一些实际问题。

“这是非常令人激动人心的场合,与各个领域的专家探索并进一步打开设计和创新的思路,特别是在星际探索的语境下进行。” Xavier说道。

“我们在NASA举办的3D打印世纪挑战赛中的参与仅仅是这项任务的开始,而现在是展望未来发展的时候了。”
