HASSELL+设计团队“收集和联接”旧金山湾区社区大力改善城市韧性

国际设计团队HASSELL+为旧金山滨水社区打造新愿景 – 活力及真正开放可及的公共空间,同时对环境及应对紧急状态发挥关键作用。

设计团队为旧金山湾区韧性城市设计挑战赛提出了“收集和联接”的设计提案。1906年旧金山大地震 – 美国历史上所遭受最严重的自然灾害之一,以及近期发生损失惨重的加州北部山火,在这些自然灾害发生时,当地社区使用开放空间的方式是我们这次作出设计回应的启发。

从历史事件及现在使用空间的形式中我们找到了一些线索,设计团队提出设立新的开阔园地及公共空间网络,在以下三个区域:东奥克兰、红木城以及南旧金山建立并集中人群及水资源 – 在还未发生以及发生灾害时。

在谈到设计团队时,HASSELL董事马飞龙(Richard Mullane)表示:“城市在应对灾害时所表现出的韧性,很大程度上可以从社区在城市环境内如何应对安排上看出,可以从主要的基础设施是否适用上看出。”

“我们对于韧性城市的设计着重放在打造高质量的公共空间及更好的社区方面。”

湾区遭受着海平面上升以及地震等自然灾害的威胁。同时,许多社区也亟需解决失业、贫困、地区治理缺失以及由工业造成的海岸无法使用或使用非常受限的问题。

更重要的还有该地区交通基础设施的问题 – 轨道、高速、轮渡及人行道及骑行道,现在这些通道已经变得越来越拥堵。就像回路一样,会越来越易受损。

为了应对这些问题,HASSELL+团队设想了一个网状构造,绿色空间、小湾和重新焕发活力的商业街将成为主要的收集、联接以及水资源管理点,沿着山脊线至海岸线,穿过整个湾区,由强化的渡轮系统连接。

“充满电的“接头”– 街道和湾道和新的“收集器” – 互动及适应性强的开放空间,将成为日常生活中聚会、举办大型活动以及受灾时的集合点。收集和联接一同发挥作用,能够使湾区在环境和社会方面更具韧性。”Richard解释道。

该项提案还包括了一个电子平台,让湾区的各个社区发表意见,什么设施是他们最需要的。“我们希望社区能够参与设计,和我们一起打造有意义的、可操作的解决方案 – 发展于当地,适用于整个地区。”Richard说道。

“我们整个团队非常期待听到当地社区的反馈,期待之后与他们以及当地政府合作,实现为湾区设计的改造。”

所有的提案于2017年12月1日前均对公众展示并听取意见,可以在Neighborland网站上查看HASSELL的设计提案。

Rob Backhouse获室内设计卓越奖金质奖章

HASSELL董事及董事会首席董事Rob Backhouse获2017室内设计卓越奖(IDEA)金质奖章。

IDEA是澳大利亚最大以及最成功的独立设计奖项,由《Inside》杂志于2003年设立。该奖项旨在表彰澳大利亚最优秀的室内设计和产品设计,涵盖11个类别,共设5个特别奖项。

IDEA金质奖章是所有奖项中最有分量的一项,奖项的颁发是对于设计从业人员在职业生涯期间对澳大利亚设计文化所作出的长期并极具影响力的贡献的专业认可。

向Rob颁发金质奖章时,评审团表示:“作为一名设计师,他(Rob)对于项目作出的贡献在全世界范围受到广泛认可,作为澳大利亚最成功的设计公司之一HASSELL的总裁,他成功地带领企业达成新一阶段的成就。”

“Rob Backhouse最棒的才能之一也许是他天生兼容并蓄的个性及学院派的气质。他拥有培养并维持室内设计团队及跨专业团队协同合作的能力,从而为项目及公司获得巨大的成功。他本人对设计的感知是极具包容性的,所有的风格类型他都不会先进行否定,因为他深知包容性是成功打造项目的关键所在。在他的个人专业经历中,Rob在室内设计方面显示出极大的才华,在任总裁一职期间,他也成功地将室内设计作为驱动专业,与建筑设计、景观设计及城市设计很好地配合。”

在获悉被授予金质奖章后,Rob表示对于能够收到业内认可,他深感荣幸。“这对于我来说是未曾预料的荣誉。对于那些我有幸参与设计的伟大项目我深感自豪,并且有幸和极具才华的设计师团队和具有专业眼光的客户一同合作。”

HASSELL将担纲设计价值9亿澳元Yaroomba Beach海滩重建项目

积水住宅(澳大利亚)委托HASSELL为昆士兰州阳光海岸的Yaroomba Beach海滩重新进行整体规划,包括建筑设计及景观设计。

有机会为这一地处沙丘带及沙丘植被的综合体社区开发进行整体设计是非常难得的。

整个项目的愿景包括新建威斯汀库鲁姆海滩水疗及度假村,这将对打造和谐开发具有积极意义,周围社区均能享受新建的环境。这也是三十年来阳光海岸的首个五星级度假酒店,酒店将包括一体的会议及活动空间。整个开发将致力于成为可持续发展及生态敏感地区设计的标杆,充分尊重自然元素及周边环境。

基于阳光海岸地貌得出的一套设计准则将贯穿整个规划。HASSELL回应特别要求的“轻着陆”这一准则的方式是将环境引入建筑,加强本地显现出的特点。

设计将景观与建筑形式结合,从沙丘地带的边缘直至场地的中心,而建筑形式则受到库鲁姆山形态的启发,将原生态地貌与精心设计的景观形成鲜明对比。

HASSELL董事Kevin Lloyd相信Yaroomba Beach的开发拥有极大的潜力成为区域性乃至昆士兰州的重要片区。

五星级酒店及配套设施的开发将扩大阳光海岸作为全国及国际性旅游目的地的吸引力。这些配套设施同时也能使阳光海岸有能力满足日益增长的会议行业的需求,从而吸引更多大型的活动来此举办。最终将提高地区就业率及经济增长。

“我们设计的建筑非常低调,更像是景观以及阳光海岸特征的自然延伸。为该地区的建筑表达形式树立了新基准 – 一处融合本地特色的建筑,打造新标杆。”Kevin说道。

“外立面的表达是一组独立的元素,景观则竖向贯穿大楼,连接起透水路面及设置了景观的屋顶平台。”Kevin补充道。
