Radisson Suites Bangkok is conveniently located on Sukhumvit Road in the Bangkok CBD, offering guests direct access to the city's main business, entertainment and shopping districts. The hotel is a short walk to the Nana Bangkok Skytrain and Sukhumvit subway stations.

The design for the hotel was the result of a multi-faceted conceptual design rather than one large dominant concept. The client wanted the guests to experience different emotions throughout the various areas of the hotel, while making the best possible use out of an existing structure that included several columns and beams as well as low ceilings.

The HASSELL design was selected because it was able to achieve the various emotions and senses that the client sought for the hotel. The selection of materials reflects the culture of Thailand including stone, timber and silk and a rich and contrasting colour scheme of purple, orange and black, which alludes to the orient. The various moods of the hotel are easily observed as you walk throughout the Radisson Suites, from the bright, well-circulated and inviting guest rooms to the more masculine public areas. While there are differences between moods and feel throughout the hotel, HASSELL was able to create a subtle flow between areas in order to allow guests to make the transition without consciously noticing the design changes.
