The Valley Vision aims to provide a clear and aspirational direction for the future of the Fortitude Valley. Layers of migrant influences, alternative cultures and social diversity, make for a place rich in experience and distinct in an otherwise typical Anglo-Australian 'big country town'. The Valley must preserve and enhance these qualities while responding to the demands of the city's evolution.
Through strategies for 'Built Form, Design and Density', 'Public Realm', 'Land Uses, Activities and Precincts', the Fortitude Valley Urban Vision provides a robust urban framework to guide the future planning to retain its inherent charm.
