The October/November 2010 issue of design magazine Cubes (Singapore) features dtac House in Bangkok. HASSELL designed the new workplace for dtac, one of Thailand's leading telecommunication providers, to accommodate 3,500 staff occupying 62,000 square metres.
The dtac corporate philosophy of 'play and learn' is successfully reflected in the design of this new workplace, challenging conventional notions of arrival, meeting, concentration and relaxation spaces and encouraging 'staff to work beyond the desk'.
The article concludes: 'In line with the company's vision of creativity, dtac House puts importance on interaction and sharing of ideas within a warm, welcoming and nurturing setting – and one where you would be hard pressed to find an employee glued to one spot from nine to five.'
