Featured in the 31st issue of Artichoke magazine, dtac House Houses in Bangkok is described as a project that 'ambitiously pushes the frontier in Thailand in terms of "sustainable" workplace design - socially and environmentally - from the choice of materials to building technologies adopted'.
The article also notes the cost effectiveness of the project delivery, noting that 'the design team's choices made good business sense, yielding the lowest cost per area for a Grade A fitout project in the country'.
HASSELL designed the new workplace for dtac, one of Thailand's leading telecommunication providers, to accommodate 3,500 staff occupying 62,000 square meters over 20 floors. The dtac corporate philosophy of 'play and learn' is communicated through all their advertising and merchandising, and is also successfully reflected in the design of this new workplace, challenging conventional notions of arrival, meeting, concentration and relaxation spaces.
Recognised in the Asia Pacific Commercial Property Awards, these new regional headquarters received a Highly Commended Award in the Best Interior Design Thailand category.
