The award-winning dtac House, home to one of Thailand's largest telecommunications company, was featured in issue no. 91 of Interior World magazine.
The workplace communicates to staff and visitors the concept of play and learn, summarising the dtac approach to the business of communication – these practices were captured in the design through a high level of physical and brand interaction.
The entry area to dtac House is a large three-level void connected by a wide stair which operates as both a connective element as well as a casual amphitheatre for larger gatherings.
Within the article, there is special note of the materials used in the design: "While natural materials, especially timber, are featured heavily within the interior, the form and application of the timber is varied across the 20 floor fitout to articulate individuality within the different business groups (...) Sourcing of materials and loose furniture was lead by both the client's aesthetic design direction as well as their preference to support Thai products and designers."
