Justice

Symbolism within the design of judicial facilities influences a community's perception on matters of justice

Today, democratic communities across the globe are placing increasing demands on their justice system, with a strong focus in designing facilities that deliver law and order in a safe and equitable manner.

Working with members of the judiciary, law enforcement, custodial and government agents, we have experience in the design and delivery of courthouses, police and custodial facilities.

It is important that our designs establish a symbolism and functionality appropriate to these significant building typologies.

Through a collaborative process, we seek to support a community's approach to matters of justice by providing solutions that:

_ Are legible and easy to understand
_Reveal to the public its social importance
_Maintain dignity and cultural identity
_Support flexibility and adaptability to change
_Provide safe and secure environments.
