BIM Model Manager

HASSELL is a leading international design practice with studios in Australia, China, South East Asia and the United Kingdom.

An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and ambitious individual to play a key role within our project delivery team based in our Sydney studio. The BIM Manager will lead the BIM process within a large scale infrastructure project, coordinating the Building Information Model/s (BIM) and associated information and datasets for a project. The primary function will be to facilitate and assist the Architecture team to generate the model/s and coordinate the drawing production to ensure consistency across packages and coordination of consultant datasets.

The successful applicant will be the controller of all documentation standards as they relate to the Architectural BIM file/s. Experience in auditing the BIM database, raising issues and working out solutions is essential to this role.

Key skills and experience

Business Development Manager

We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to be an integral part of the HASSELL leadership and management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically planning and co-ordinating the studio's business development activities and driving the identification and securing of new work from both new and existing clients. The role will report to the Principals, and also liaise with the Head of Business Development and sector leaders. It requires you to be a highly motivated professional who understands the design services profession and connects with the HASSELL business culture and objectives.

Key responsibilities

_Undertaking research and identification of new target markets
_Tracking business development activities and monitoring outcomes against these parts including overseeing key new business opportunities, wins and losses and co-ordinating reports to management
_Co-ordinating and providing strategic input to large submissions, tenders and expressions of interest
_Growing the quality and quantity of new work opportunities across all disciplines within the studio
_Developing and implementing discipline marketing plans in consultation with sector leaders and Market Sector Champions which incorporate strategies around financial targets, public relations, and new business and managing client relationship strategies
_Developing and implementing a targeted calendar of in-house events including guest speakers, lunches, workshops and major client events

Key skills and experience

_Degree qualified in a business development, marketing, or design profession and with at least 5 years of experience

HASSELL is currently seeking a dynamic Hospitality and Tourism Sector Leader.

The successful candidate will have an architectural background and be responsible for positioning the firm in the region by delivering complex projects through to a successful completion. This role for this sector is to identify and secure opportunities, develop design solutions, assume responsibility for and assist in the development of design concepts and prepare with the project team documentation for tenders and construction. The candidate will be required to have a full understanding of the specific components of such projects from procurement through to implementation and be respected in the industry by owners, developers and operators.

This position is a senior level within the organisation, located in our Singapore studio. International travel will be required.

Mid-Level Interior Designer

An exciting opportunity exists at HASSELL for a Middle Level Interior Designer or Architect to join the team in our London studio to work on a major global headquarter workplace project in central London for a blue chip company. The preferred candidate will have proven experience in workplace interior design working within the UK. A good all-rounder, they will have a solid grounding in AutoCad detail documentation for workplace fitout projects, technical detailing, joinery documentation and interior package documentation. Familiarity with UK regulations, NBS specification and BIM is required. The preferred candidate will be a talented interior designer with excellent design skills using SketchUp 3D and Adobe Photoshop. Project portfolio examples and proven skill in visualising 3D interior concepts are a must. Skills using Revit also advantageous.
