Head of Design Technologies

HASSELL has launched an international search for an inspirational leader to drive real innovation and creativity in how design technology can unlock the potential of places, for people to enjoy, use and experience. This is a role that we've created, which is able to be based in any of our studios globally, to ensure we fully exploit the power of design technologies.

It is also about how we want to engage, interact and collaborate with a wide range of other expert, know-how based organisations. To partner, share, collaborate, invest and incubate.

We want someone with fresh ideas, a great understanding of the very latest technology-driven innovations, strong perspectives on future developments and disruption, and above all else an ambition to shape a great future for an international design practice.

We’re already a highly collaborative, award-winning international design practice with very strong design technology capability across our studios and markets in Australia, US, China, South East Asia and the United Kingdom. We work in an agile and flexible way and if you are the best person for the role, you don’t necessarily have to be based where we are currently.

As a practice we place value on the quality of ideas and the contribution our people make to our open and collaborative culture. In line with that ethos, we’re not just looking for the candidate with the most years of experience for this role. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about design, who takes ownership of their work and the culture to which they’re contributing. We’re looking for someone who wants to work internationally and deliver world class design.

So if you’re an inspirational leader with a creative approach to design technology who believes in the power of ideas, sees technology as a means to an end, not just an end in itself, can bring people along with you on the journey, and are loved by your current colleagues and clients, we’d love to hear from you.
